Through a special warrant granted to the club, members of the Bar Yacht Club are permitted to “wear” the BYC defaced blue ensign (below right – a blue ensign defaced with the club’s logo of a brief).
To “wear” the ensign one must first procure a permit. This can be arranged by sending an E-Mail to the Hon Sec. Please note this permit costs £25 for 5 years.
The ensign itself can be acquired from www.flags-turtle.co.uk or several other sources. Once again the Hon Sec is the best first port of call for advice.
